    It's good
When I had my first alignment after the solos with TC uppers, I was at +4.5 caster. I lifted the front about 1/2" and that seems to have put me at +4.7. When I changed out the tires this week I came out at +4.0 after the new alignment. Feels pretty similar, but I may like 4.5 better.

How long are key fob batteries supposed to last? Mine seems dead, so it lasted 14 months?
The sequoias fob seemed to last years.

nvm, opening it up and spinning the battery around seems to have worked.

I’m all set. The only thing I thought of doing with that was capturing and repurposing the cargo switch. But with a fuse it works great now and I have a capture at the lamp so I’m all set on bezel. Just need to do bulbs is all. Wanna come vacation and work on my truck for me?

It’s fun when you get to spend the day making detailed PowerPoint drawings for your work assignment.

That said, I would never want to be a technical writer.

Dave, I'd love to. Working with my hands let's my brain breathe, and gives me a minutes respite. Unfortunately, I'm all covered up. Got all we can do.

these came today, no more lean. I’ll get on once I get my rack and pinion bellows replaced. That way I’ve only gotta have 1 alignment

also closed on 29 acres this morning. Pretty stoked about that :amen:

So I changed my rear diff oil with some lower priced valvoline, and added a slip modifier as well; I forgot to go do figure 8s immediately after and drove it to work. The valvoline said it has slip modifier in it already so it shouldn’t be a issue……… but it sure seems like I have some slight clutch chatter when giving gas at the beginning of a turn from a stop.
Throw another bottle of modifier in and go do 8s? I’m not sure if it’s something I did, or that oil is junk

I don't use modifiers, but what is this figure 8 business? Mixing doesn't seem necessary with that ring in there. Run oil into the tubes?

Sorry, I have a LSD, the figure 8 helps open? The clutches or gets their mojo flowing and helps the slip modifier work into the clutches……….. that’s kinda the theory I think

I believe the FSM says 3 figure 8s to be exact. I definitely get weird looks in the church parking lot or behind the grocery store

I guess...I was working to resolve a front end noise on the boy's 4R. I wanted to test it with more travel so on my street which was empty I drove with the right wheels on the sidewalk to get the driveway dips. I passed an old guy's house who was in his garage and he came out on the sidewalk to make sure I got his stink eye on my way back...

Hahaha yeah I’d be throwing the stink rock if you did that on my street! No I’m smarter than that, I always wish I was walking by someone else’s house when one of the yahoos comes flying thru!

lol, seemed pretty safe to me, I was 12" onto the sidewalk with a clear view. But in retrospect, I would probably be thinking, "what is this yahoo doing driving on my sidewalk!?!"

It seems to help mix the fluid. When I used fluid that I added modifier too it would chatter around turns for a while if I didn't do 8s. If I didn’t do 8s it would only chatter for the first turn.

When I switched to Lucas no more 8s or chatter

Only matters with new/rebuilt LSD that needs to be broken in.

If still issues then it's the fluid. Motul 90pa or Lucas.
