Traction boards might be a fairly decent starting point. Secondly, deflated tires and an air compressor, finally a shovel. My preference, 2021.

I was in a parking lot... had no room to turn arond so I had to go where they pushed the snow all year. It's spring so the snow is melted at this point and the groud was verry mudy. I did no realized that. With a 16foot trailer attached. Track or shavel would have guvin me nothing. I needed to be pull from the front with a tow wrope and had no place to attache it.

So I had to disconect the trailer... drive off the mud and pulled my trailer from behind with the jackdtand down. It's a big trailer. I GOT LUCKY I did not bend my jack leg.

Anyway u'm not please. I SHOULD A TOOK picture to sent them to toyota canada. A truck witout tow hook is useless.

Sucks and sounds terribly annoying, but in Toyota's defense you knew it didn't have tow hooks when you bought it.

I agree, but this mod I saw yesterday chages it up. Looks decent IMO. No chrome, no big mouth, no hulk hogan mustash.

Nice. Pretty slick using the sway bar mounting points. Wish they had a picture of the hooks from the front. I'd like to see the clearance for them. I'm pretty sure those will be tucked up in there and will damage the front chin (& active air dam) if you connected a snatch strap to them.

But, I guess if you're really stuck...it's better to get out and have to replace from broken plastic clips on a trim piece. I'd be more worried about damaging the active air dam. I have to imagine that's an expensive item from the dealership.

I agree you will probably tear up any low hanging plastic in a recovery. It's a start at least! Maybe we're wrong and the fit is better than it looks in the pics. I'm not ready to order them just yet, although the price could be worse.

I agree on the price. Makes it compelling. They're not as overpriced as I figured the first-on-the-market (assuming they are) tow hooks would end up being. $170 isn't too bad.
