I have a 1794. A little over 1200 miles on mine. Absolutely zero issues. Love everything about it. Cruise at 75 mph on the highway nets me over 20 mpg. If you use apple car play you can split the screen fyi. From what l see on this forum 90% of people talking trash are 2nd gen owners if I’m being honest.

Uhhh, I think all Tundras are made in San Antonio and yeah, Toyota is the one manufacturer.

I think you are 100% correct. I have a ton of problems with my 22 Tundra, but still love it.....guess I'm a glutton for punishment, lol. I can't understand why so many non-owners have to visit these threads just to bitch and whine about something that doesn't affect them.

Happens every time a new gen is released. They’ll warm up in time, especially once Toyota mops up the release issues and the weird, very un-Toyota QC issues. Also, to be fair, try to separate the criticism of how Toyota is handling the issues from criticism of the truck itself. Ignore the guys who just drop a deuce (“I’ll never give up my v8 for such an ugly truck”) in the middle of the thread and leave…
Because we drive perfect trucks and we were expecting the next one to be perfect, too. :boink::rofl:
Seriously though, a ton of people on this forum have been saving money and waiting a very long time for the new Tundra. This is an issue that at some point affects everyone who swore off domestics. Some of the posts are ridiculous; I get it. But, a lot of people are coming to grips with the fact that the truck doesn’t meet their expectations after waiting so long or would like to buy it but feel the need to wait out the release issues and very un-Toyota QC issues.

I really don’t want my truck to be my last Toyota; I bet that hybrid is AWESOME. It’s all going to come down to payload for me.

My 1794 with a February 24th build date, 300ish miles the PVM camera panel flew off the passenger mirror on interstate. 2500 miles in the dome light fuse started blowing. Mirror assembly was replaced, entire headliner was replaced (it houses the shorted harness). Truck was in the shop for 4 days, and they provided a loaner. I noticed the bumps in the flares just yesterday when I was giving it a good hard look around picking it up from the service department. I'll bring this up at a later date.
    No rAgrets.
