Love some Torchy's. The Baja Shrimp Grilled is my current fav. They used to have a veggie with a giant slice of Portabello for the 'meat' that's no longer on the menu; but man that thing was good. The queso with chorizo is great, too (although their chips are kinda not so great. Get Santito's from the groc instead).

I have a zero turn now, so I can confirm that is certainly not me.... Recently at least....

Edit: also definitely a coincidence that original poster @Prostar 190 and I are listed as residing in Ohio.

That’s a variable factor dependent on the rate of twist applied while applying the separation force. The only member I know that has the knowledge, intelligence, wisdom and fortitude to calculate this equation is @RainMan_PNW

Did your trip involve hallucinogens, or maybe some other controlled substance?

I’m not judging, sometimes one trip trumps another. What with the price of gas, peyote might be more pleasant than filling up your tundra gas tank.

It's totally a first-world problem, but after 45 minutes of digging through 5th grade engineering to get to the problem in my refrigerator, it kinda started hitting like this:

The condenser blower fan was rubbing against the ice that had built up due to an inadequate defrosting system.

No refrigerators were harmed in the filming of this episode, but it came GD close.

Defrost clock is stuck or the element is bad, if it doesn’t have a POS motherboard in the back right above the compressor, that heat from the compressor kills the boards…..
also make sure your gaskets are good and doors shut freely

Kenmore. I think Whirlpool manufactured it. GE makes some of Kenmore's stuff too. I'm guessing it's all some bullshit shell game, with rat-ridden manufacturing plants on one end, and slicky-britches used car salesmen on the other.

My favorite part of tearing into the thing was a drawer stop for one of the three freezer drawers (it's a bottom freezer, and all the poorly engineered drawers have to come out in order to get to the condenser fan). The drawer stop is just a little plastic piece with a very obvious push-tab to release it from the hole it rests in. Pushed the tab in about seventeen times, but the piece wouldn't budge. I ran back and forth to my office computer several times to check to see some video that showed what the fv(k. Finally found one about a Jenn-Air (built by Whirlpool, in case you're wondering) that showed kind of how to get it done. Instead of pushing the tab and gently removing the piece, you have to stick a screwdriver under the seam and just wrench the fv(ker out like it was a rotten tooth. smfh.

It's done, for now, and so am I. Back to solving problems at work...

Thank you. Since it's running up on 7 years old and this has never happened, I'm going with your diagnosis. I'll get parts and probably wait until it refreezes to dig back in. At least now I'll know what I'm doing.

On the defrost clock - is that an electronic part I can maybe reset by draining capacitors; or once it's gone, it's gone? Checking on parts just now, there's literally a $14.89 part for everyone else's fridge, and a $110.89 part for mine.

So it sounds like you probably have a newer fridge that has a mother board, usually it’s a relay or contact issue and there is no saving it, older fridges that use all mechanical controls have a dial that can be turned to advance the defrost (usually that timer goes bad)

so first I’d check the door and seals, clean them with a light bleached rag and the surface they mate to.
Second it could be a sensor that failed and isn’t telling the board to initiate defrost, sometimes the sensors also come loose from the tubing(right where you just were with the fan probably, on the coil)
3rd it could be the board, try to find out which board you have, and then look up trouble shooting videos or specific defrost issues relating to the board; and using a DMM you can test pins to see what the issue is
