Just got the fusion app along with the additional fusion pids for my 08 Tundra. Looking to monitor trans temps, especially while towing.
Question is in the app under the SAE PIDs there are 2 "A/T Oil Temps (1&2)" and 2 "Engine Coolant Temp (1&2)" displays. What exactly do each monitor? I know with the A/T one is supposed to be the pan and the other I believe is the torque convertor.
Can someone let me know which #1 monitors and what #2 monitors?
Same question with the Engine Coolant temps.
Anything else I should monitor like what gear it's in and convertor lockup? If so which pids are they?

Transmission temp has two sensors. One is pan temp. One is temp after the converter before the cooler. One temp will be more consistent (pan temp) the other will fluctuate a lot and in high gear torque converter lockup will even out with the pan temp. Can’t remember which number is which. But watching both you’ll know quickly.

As for coolant I have no clue why you show two… there’s only one sensor

Pan temp of 180 is ideal. Converter can crest 200. Above 220 you start to worry.

pan shouldn’t really ever get above 200 ideally. Fluid starts to degrade FAST over 200
