That sucks. What about spraying heavy with a coating and reinstall with St St hardware?

I’m pondering that. Unfortunately the bolt side of the hardware is a custom jobber. Will post a pic later…

I bought a '98 VFR a bit ago. Wasn't any different than any other dealership experience - I'd say the google rating isn't too far off. Maybe try Everett first? It's the same ownership as I-90 Motorsports from what I understand.

    I'll check them out, thanks.
Availability is another factor in play, probably a shortage like everything right now.

Think I’m going to redo/modify the current BMC I have. After looking at the old man’s rig I saw they actually bent it back for more clearance.

Maybe while I’m in there I’ll do the pinch weld mod. Most likely have to wait until I get more time. May is basically a mess with work travel.

63F6E345-1E2F-4292-89F3-290C8CCD6796.jpg Today I noticed one of my color matched side view mirror caps decided to walk the plank last night while the wife and I were on date night. Luckily I still have the stock chrome ones. I never could get the color matched ones to snap in all the way no matter what I did. The chrome ones pop into place so easy I’ll probably just paint those myself when I get around to it. For now the outside of the rig has chrome again:annoyed:

Happy Easter ya’all. Had family over tonight for dinner. We do themes for Christmas and Easter and Easter has turned into finger food / grazing the past few years. This year was finger food that goes well with some wine from our “cellar”. Was great to just hang out and talk to the family.

Make it a good week everyone!

I have not dealt with this dealer. I’ve been on the hunt for over a month for a Honda 4x4 Rancher with ES or DSP. Power steering would be nice but not a must. Anyways, most of the good models of ATVs are sold out, and build and shipping of new ones is a wait. HONDAS are in high demand from what I can tell. I know some dealers have markups on the price, shipping, handling etc. so it’s going to be who has one, and what price are you going to pay, and what model/color you want.

I ended up leaving my name and info with several dealers, some require a REFUNDABLE deposit of 100 or 500 bucks. I got notice one is on its way and may be here in a couple weeks.

    Good luck.

I have a 4x4 Rancher with the manual gear box, I love it!
Check out that dealer, I think I saw several Ranchers on the site.

I'm going to call on one in the morning, good luck too!

Ever since I switched mine to color I’ve had an issue. Popped mine in with a little bit more force and so far it hasn’t moved. But I did order a back up set just in case.

When I put my originals back on last week temporarily, I had a hell of a time getting the drivers side cap in place. Seem good to go now though.

Got a deposit down on a Foreman!
The lowest price I've seen and it's in Yakima, they have a pretty low sales tax rate.

This one is available in Yakima too, I just reserved mine with Chris in sales. How does this price compare to the one you have on hold?

Here’s a pic of the hardware. The bolt/bar stock weld job is the tricky part I cannot replicate with new SS hardware. A2137E28-5835-48A8-B920-BC895C8C1FE8.jpg

    Wow, that's pretty bad.
Try a media blaster if you have access to one, then hit it with some good enamel paint.

A machine shop could make them as 1 piece as well but don’t know if you would want to spend that kind of money. Let me know if your interested. If I had dimensions I can model them up quickly and have them made for you in about a months time or less.

Gawd I wish I had a media blaster. I can see one in the corner of my dream garage.
Very cool offer, thanks. I’m going to sit on this for a month or so. I want to do some freeway driving to see how my tranny temps change. Plus I still need to pull a fluid sample…so many tasks; so little time

If it's worth the shipping costs, you could send them over the mountain.
I never use our media blaster at work for home projects. ;)

I think everyone haha the same mfr price but the shipping and dealer prep costs can vary. I was going to get a red ES at South sound Honda in Lacey, to be shipped end of this month but My current deal, Everett Motorsports, called with a 4x4:Rancher with DSP and EPS, a blue one. Form the Honda mfr website the blue is only with DSP and EPS. This was my first choice and the ES was the second. It has shipped and due this month, but shipping is a variable these days. I’m ok for paying the extra for the DSP and EPS. EB008575-D561-4288-89A3-52E96B5029EE.jpg.
Everett saves me about 140 mile round trip.

The exterior of my truck is all black and white but I feel like it’s time to add a little red in tastefully! I didn’t want to go with plain black ones.

I would media blast and hit them with cold galvanizing compound from a rattle can.

or put them in a vise and wire brush the Fuck out of them.
