Has anyone put steering whelp controls on there 2007-2013 that didn’t come with it. I’ve read some threads and think I got the wiring figured out but heard you can cut the airbag cover to fit cause the airbag it self is the same. Has anyone done this mod before?

It's probably worth your while to buy the cover for a truck that had the steering wheel buttons. The part number will be different based on your model year but you can look it up through the Toyota parts website.

Someone on another forum did it and it came out nice.

I tried to do it and yea not so much. Ended up cutting too much away so then just hacked it up to finish the install and ordered a replacement one made for steering wheel controls. Cheapest I found was $275 shipped
