    Alright, alright, alright.

    285/70/17s on

Prinsu on... end caps still need go on (wanted Frontrunner rack but couldn’t justify the $300 or so more)

    New alignment

New Cam bolts and LCA Bushings

By far the best the truck has ridden

—First pic is for comparing to 265s on the previous page—

Sitting at 212k now. Used it for an 1800mi trip from TX to CA towing 5400lb.

No issues other than coolant temps rising a bit during long hot uphills through AZ. Backing off the throttle helped with that.

The “little” truck actually impressed me. Good chunk of low end power (unlike the 3rd Gen taco) for its size. Would I have rather been in my old 2014 5.7 land yacht? Of course lol

Super impressed by these rear bumpstops! Was on them most of the trip as you can see from the pic below. Really nice ride. Was very glad I upgraded.

Great looking truck! You are the only 1st Gen on the forum I’ve seen with the IMS, what do you think? I know you have too much spring, but other than that what are your impressions?

What size Prinsu rack did you order? I am wanting to buy one for my ARE topper and there are multiple sizes available. The topper is stored now or I’d just measure it

Not bad, I liked the Bilstein 6112 in my 3rd get noticeably more, overall. I'd go that route again if I could.

Hey- sorry. I haven't been on here in forever and hope I can still be of some help! This is what I got. It fits PERFECTLY. Flush with the sides of topper. Really happy with how it turned out.

Nice! I sold my 2016 4Runner and 2016 Tacoma and ended up with a built 2007 Sequoia, somewhat built 2006 Tubdra, and a 1999 Tacoma about to get built.

In with the the new. Lots of money dumped into them, but no payments.

Total threadjack, but can you compare the sequoia to the 4runner? I go back and forth all the time about selling my Sequoia and getting a 4runner. I want to build up a solid Moab offroader with 35's. Pros to the Sequoia is I already own it, have fixed a ton of stuff and it fits my kids for long roadtrips. Cons are size and aftermarket support.

Keeping the kids, keep the sequoia.

The Sequoia still gets better mileage than the 4Runner even with bigger tires, and has plenty of power. The power of the 4.0 in the 4Runner is really weak. Great truck, but you have to put your foot in it to get it to go. Very solid built though.

Other than the engine, everything else drivetrain wise is the same between the Sequoia and T4R.

Prices jumped on T4R’s, and I had a $450 a month payment on it. So I sold it partial trade for the Tacoma, and I walked away with a bunch of cash.

Pic before the Sherpa Rack. Icon front and rear.

Is there a guide somewhere for removing the chrome fender arches. I hadn’t seen a before and after before and I have to say it looks pretty clean now.

I have some bushwackers I meant to install but freeflaring it is definitely growing on me.
