My 22 Limited (5.5 bed) just fits in my garage. Mere inches from the front wall and inches for the door to clear the rear bumper.

I am at 300 miles, so still getting the hang of parking the truck without having the dreaded AEB activate. The good news is that I have yet hit the wall with my truck. But, holy crap when that AEB activates, it is quite jarring.

I can line up on the wall quite well with the camera system. Should I just deactivate the AEB while parking in my garage? I try to inch the truck forward, but it still activates some of the time.

Yup that AEB is pretty intense. As long as you trust your instincts then no harm in shutting it off. I shut mine off all the time when I'm backing into a parking spot and I'm coming up on bushes, I know i have room but I know the truck will want to slam on the brakes.

The first time the AEB activated on me when I was trying to get close to the wall in my garage I thought I’d hit the wall and damaged the truck…you can imagine my relief when I saw I still had a couple of inches to go!

Today, I turned off the AEB and used the camera to park. Much quicker and worked perfectly.
