Does anyone else have reception issues with their factory 21 SR5 Tundra radio? My wife's 19 Highlander and my son's 20 Tacoma get all stations fine. Mine fades every once in awhile. Not looking to upgrade but curious as to why the reception is not that good.

Only problem I've noticed certain station marked with HD? (something like that but too busy driving to see for sure) will cut in and out instead of the gradual loss of signal like analog FM stations. Assume these are digital FM. Other than that the range seems normal to me.

If you've got the shark fin antenna, yep they suck much better off with a 1/4 wave 30" antenna.

HD is on the FM dial but not frequency (FM) modulation it's digital and it's riding on the side of the standard FM lobe. Since it's digital you just lose the signal by design rather that go to static with traditional FM.

Yeah mine sucks too. Assumed it was because of the shark fin only antenna.
