@Tundra2 I would seriously consider getting AAA+ either alone or as and add-on to a membership with a family member living with you. You get 4 free tows of 100 miles if you don’t call in any other issues (i.e. battery jump, open door with slim jim,etc.). Mucho cheap if you’re an add-on to an existing membership.

Sorry to hear you had to sell the 1911.

That’s a taint of steel, notice how the guy had to feel for it. Everyone’s taint location is different.
I’ve also heard it called a Cuzif

I have a 2000 Tundra with a V6 and it has 313,000 miles on it. The rear differential on it is toast from my dad towing too much weight on it. I’d like to trick it out and dump a bunch of money into it but I’m wondering if it’d really be worth it. Any thoughts?

Do it. No question. I just had my gears gone this week. Throw out the old anyway. Doesn’t matter at all to me that my stock LSD was in decent condition at 20 years old. Maybe 4.88 and 35’s?

Spark plugs are changed. Waiting on RA care package to be delivered. All torqued to 13 ft.lbs.

I finally understand what @Professional Hand Model was talking about as the mojo flowed right through me into my hands. Gullapa magic

Will upload pics and time capsule post to crackies page when my care package is installed.

Up and at 'em early in the AM. I like it.

When things are going to shit, I try to find mini-victories. If you can string together two or three or four mini-victories, you build momentum and things invariably look up.
This applies to automotive projects and life in general.

Hell yeah! Been up at em since 3 this morning. Dropped my GF off at work, and she let me borrow her truck to run some errands. Dropped off an envelope at the bank with my money from my 1911. Paid for all 8 coil packs.

Cleaned a little bit. Swept. Mini-victories that all built up to spark plug mojo. That one by the brake booster twerent no joke! Torque wrench only had enough room to swing one tooth at a time but I put some controlled "hometown" on it.

    Fuck yah brah.

While at the hardware store yesterday a beautiful black extended cab T100 pulled up and parked along side me. I'm partial to black trucks as you can see. I might have bought a T100 instead of a Tundra had I found one, although the V8 was definitely a deciding factor towards the Tundra.

So with that background in mind, I got out of my truck to ogle the beauty next to me. Shock! Horror! Upon closer inspection this truck was nearly destroyed by rust, however cleverly concealed. Black duct tape covered the rusty rocker and door panels, and metalized duct tape covered the rust on the chrome bumpers. From ten paces it looked pristine, however not on closer inspection.

    The grass is always greener...

What's the torque spec for the valve covers? I'll give them a clicky poo while I'm juiced up.

I had to check, but it's just easy math. 1 foot pound = 12 inch pounds.

53 in lb = 4.4 ft lb. 3 finger tight.

Is GA from the same distribution port as TX? That would explain unicorn color combo on truck #2.
