Agreed, but at least the nights are usually cool-ish for part of those months. That’s their only redeeming quality.

 

We’ve got a 1pm game today. Son’s team has black pants, black jerseys, and he is the catcher.

 

Poor guy lol. Our team is at least white pants. Most of the others do the black on black or other dark schemes.

 

He’s gunna need some Gatorade close by!

Pretty good...tires have 2k miles now and are holding their balance so far, so I'm happy about that. Was finally able to make an interrupted run to compare MPGs; I lost basically 1mpg with the new tires and Diamondback. That's about what I expected, so happy about that too.

Now I just need to call the bank for a loan; gotta fill the tank tomorrow...

I see what you did there. I should have specified earlier that I want 300+ HP in a V8. I've done the fast-ish non V8 and it's super fun, but the Tundra is only my 3rd V8. First was an old '70s something Oldsmobile, but I only had it for a month before it was donated to family members in need. Loved having a V8, but the next one was a cadillac that was a lemon POS from about day 10. I want a fun V8 in a car.

Nope. If I were going to go small displacement turbo I'd get another WRX. I loved that car.

That is way to hot for any activity that doesn't involve speed or water to keep cool.

In today's world, I wouldn't stick around either. I would give the sheepish sorry and be gone. I don't wanna have to shoot some roid raging idiot that gets out and gets all aggro at my in my car. I don't trust people. Not real uncommon for something like this to turn into some asshole trying to drag the other guy out of his car. Has nothing to do with me not wanting to own up, but everything to do with me not being willing to bet that the other person is going to be rational or nonviolent.

I don't understand people that think their ICE can race an Tesla. Even if the car is actually capable of quicker acceleration and speed, if the driver isn't perfect the Tesla is going to eat their lunch. Max torque at a sustained rate our of a Tesla means any slight misstep in shifting from an ICE is going to be lost ground. It's apples and oranges. Where an ICE will win out though is any kind of endurance race. Slow and steady, as they say.
