So I'm going to use talk to text excuse any grammar errors oh I bought a 03 Tundra off of A co-worker it's a decent little truck. Except for the issue with starting that a fix from this forum was a battery cable or ground connection. It overheated added water to it got it home but at 50 mph is started to stall out power loss it was an overheating so I powered through it once I get about 55 it ran fine so I'm thinking it has something to do with the power for it to shift in the transmission but anyway get home start it up and let it Idle No white smoke from the exhaust on assuming the heads are fine. Radiator leaking like a sieve out of the bottom so I'm assuming a blue a connection somewhere or just old going to replace the radiator hoses thermostat. Curious about the water pump I can't test to see if it's flowing because the radiator leaks. It didn't leak when I originally had it water but once I got home and let it idle in the driveway it must have built pressure and I noticed that leak then. Im mainly curious about the power issue at 50 mph. I was really easy on it. I was just trying to get it home so i didnt notice anything before then. It didnt get hot the ride home later that day. About 10 miles. Also planning on ordering all the parts o can from rock auto or ebay motors. Going with a toyota thermostat and denso radiator. Mid price range stuff.
