I picked up my 1794 on Saturday and have gotten to drive it some. The dealership sent me out with a full tank of gas and I went with the salesman to familiarize myself with the vehicle. On the side of me was a 1957 Chevy Pickup--I wish the tundra's owner's manual was as simple as his.
My gauges showed that I had a range of about 25 miles when it was filled. It took 28 gallons to fill up the 32 gallon tank. I assume that when it shows low that I will have about 2 or 3 gallons left. That might not hold up. My other Toyota products have a greater reserve when light come on.
With mixed driving, by the gauges, I averaged a bit over 20 mpg over 200 miles. I kept it mostly at 70 mph on the mostly flat Interstate.
