So after a delightful weekend of replacing my old cracked manifolds with long tubes I have a problem.

when putting the headers back on I did not realize that the dipstick hole would be behind them. I surely don’t want to take everything back apart as I’ve got everything tightened and the motor mounts back in.
I’m thinking of drilling and tapping as I don’t know what else to do at this point. I don’t want the Dipstick to be behind the header as that would be silly to need to remove the header to replace the o-ring on the dipstick.

can’t believe I did this. Thoughts? What have others done?

So mine actually bolts on further forward under the valve cover. The AC accumulator was in the way of the bolt(06 DC) FEE1F8BD-9D2A-4770-80EC-EAC29252D5EA.jpg1EE91155-544D-447F-88EF-9D6495B279F4.jpg

I spoke with Keith. There was a bracket that came in the baggy.

It connects to the first manifold stud.
