Welcome to the site. Sorry about the truck. It doesn't matter if it's 300 or 30K miles...sucks nonetheless.

Damn! Sorry. Happened to me too, at 300 miles. I hope they can fix it well and soon, and that it’s smooth sailing from here on out.

Totally sucks when that happens. You can't turn off the rear AEB?

Exactly, try clicking this button and see if it will drive without braking. Sorry to hear, that totally sucks!

lesson learned: always park very very far from ANYONE. I’m always off to the side on the grass like a dick, but it’s necessary

Sometimes parking away from everyone is bad too. One morning took the truck to work, parked in the back so I don’t get any door dings, wind blew my driver door open. Broke the door check. If I had parked closer I probably would have been more careful when opening.

Always have, absolutely hate door dings, and people have no respect for others property.

Order the parts and keep driving it. Nothing looks like it would keep it from being driven.

Sorry for what happened. After seeing this, and the amount of numbers of near accidents in the last couple days driving to/from work in the DC area, I am going to order OEM dash cam. It's like people can't see my truck next to them when they're switching lanes.

Sorry it happened to any Tundra...it being a new one is double bad! Must make you think of getting industrial-strength front and rear custom bumpers.

Sorry that happened, I'd be SO PISSED.
Try to get a loaner/rental from your dealership when you get it fixed.
That way if it takes longer than expected, they should cover the cost of the loaner/rental after your insurance rental runs out if they have to wait on parts.

I'm on day 136 of my truck at the dealership waiting for catalytic converter parts.
The only saving grace is I'm in one of their rental/loaner tacomas.

    Welcome to the forum...:D

    Damn that’s a long wait :(

…all due to sad act which then has all of us buying extra accessories (Cat plates) that most didn’t plan for.
