New to me 2005 Tundra.

Just bought a 2005 Tundra last week. Having second thoughts with all the problems shade tree salesman didn't tell me about. 169,000 miles on Acess cab 4x4 with 4.7 V 8. TPM light on, CEL on, ABS problems, tail gate handle broken, fog light wiring missing, wheel well liner missing, fender flares missing. And I bought this POS to replace a 1998 Tacoma with 270,000 miles and everything worked except FM radio and cigarette lighter. Must have had a severe brain fart.

 

Yeah, pretty much any first gen Tundra you buy at this point is going to have some issues you'll have to iron out. You ought to be able to source most of the missing pieces from people parting out trucks on facebook marketplace. I fought the TPMS battle too, so I feel your pain on that one. This site has a lot of really smart and resourceful people who have helped me out a bunch with mine. Check the timing belt!
