Hey all, been eyeing a Tundra for a long time and finally found one I decided to turn into a project - TRD Pro 2021 which needs some tlc. Looking into upgrading the stereo for starters since it standard is somewhat poor. Don't want to flash a 65k rig that sounds like a can of beens. I am in the Phoenix, AZ area - any good recommendations on where to get a diy package to install?

Congratulations on the truck! It sucks you had to pay 65K but at least you got one.

In my opinion the premium JBL sound system sounds pretty good. It just needs better low frequency base. I replaced the stock sub behind the backseat with a 10 inch Rockford Fosgate that was compatible with the existing amp. It sounds great now. I hear dozens of different ideas on how to upgrade the sound system. I personally don’t think it needs it.

Personally, I think the JBL system is mediocre. Check out Tech12volts. James@tech12volts is good to work with.
