I'm looking at buying a camper shell from a seller that has an Access Cab truck. I have a Crew Cab, with the top of my bed measuring about 76-1/2". I'm still waiting to hear back from the seller on the exact measurements, but does anyone know if the bed lengths are the same on the Access Cab and Crew Cab?

I have an access cab and a shell from a double cab. It fits but there is a small gap in the front so some water does get in.

I'm wondering if the AC shell might be a tad small but might still work?

A small gap in the front, in that your shell OVERhangs the bed, being longer than it should?

Wrong way around. The DC shell is shorter than an AC shell.

Small gap where it's a hair too short and I can slip my fingers up through the gap, hence the rain coming in. I filled it by using pipe insulation which helped.

Yep, I can echo what's already been said. DC vs AC is slightly different.
Also, not that it matters, but the 'bed depth' is significantly deeper 'vertically' on the DC vs the AC . . . meaning from top of bed rail to top of the floor of the bed.

I'm in the Lubbock, TX area. I see you're in Boise, ID... *sigh* Ironically enough, I went to Soda Springs, ID to actually buy this truck. I don't think I'd be willing to make that trip again for a shell. Though, as described by the other guy in the your thread, I might be willing to meet somewhere.

I've got a Pace Edwards Retractable Tonneau cover that I'm trying to trade or trade+cash for a shell. My truck is the maroon/burgundy anyways, so I'm trying to find one that color.

It's quite nice actually, I just need a shell instead for more room.
