My 2019 TRD Pro has not been getting the differentials or transfer case fluids changed by my local dealer at. My truck is now at 70,000 miles. Rather than rely on the POS lying dealer I will just do as much as I can by myself. As a “backyard mechanic” I’m capable of doing this work. Just wondering the interval and what fluid types are best for these applications. Thank in advance for the help.

I use Blauparts for the fluids, they have a kit that gets you Ravenol fluid for the diffs and TC. You can either buy crush washers at the dealer or I usually get them through Amazon. The transfer case should only have pipe threads on the plugs, so you can use Teflon tape.
I change my mine on 20k mile intervals.

I wouldn’t bother till 120,000 miles. Differentials don’t heat up like motor oil. I changed the diffs on my Tacoma at 90,000 miles and the oil looked new. My friend asked why. His Tacoma was around 250,000 miles. He never changed. His truck was totaled so it would have been wasted effort.

Motor oil, Yes, keep it fresh.
