Just found out that they do not use wiper inserts for the 21 Tundra like they did for my 2019 Tacoma and Highlander. $30 x 2 = $60 bucks for new OEM blades. Yikes!

I ordered these OEM blades from eBay. So far so good. No streaks or vibration.

I am not doubting what your saying OP, but who told you that? The only reason why I am asking is because out of the 5 Toyota dealerships within an hour of my house, 4 parts departments said there is no such thing for any Toyota (Sightline only). And I have gotten the replacement rubber replacements for every model I owned so far. This may very well be the case for the Tundra because I haven’t needed to replace yet…

I've owned every generation of the Toyota Tundra since it came out and they have always required the whole windshield wiper blade to be replaced. I just do it every spring when I go in for my "summerizing" oil change since I only use the Tundra to tow my bass boat and average far less than 5k miles a year and routine checkup.

It's an annual "rite" of springtime after I drop the Ranger bass boat off for the annual tune up, lower unit fluid change, and general checkup for the new fishing season.

I'll be doing the same thing in a couple of weeks with the 2021 Tundra I bought last year, it's just a part of owning the Tundra as a dedicated tow vehicle and I've long since budgeted for this expense along with new tires every 4-5 years depending on where I take my bass boat during the fishing season.

I had RainX blades, garbage. Everyone swears by Valeo blades. I bought a pair, around $25-30 for both. Haven't had a chance to try them yet. I am definitely not paying stealership prices for blades.

I too have tried a bunch. Many were subpar, streaked, etc. Rainx sucked as did any of the tricos I tried. Best I have found so far has been bosch icon

I got lucky and was able to get the blades replaced under warranty (12/12). I also learned that Toyota offers 2 models of blades. One set being $20 less, both made by Siteline. I was able to get the same as came on the truck new which was the more expensive version. Honestly have no clue what the difference is/was except for the packaging.

That’s great, that they were replaced under warranty. The ones that come from the factory are much much better IMHO than the Sightlines. They last much longer.

The original blades that come on the truck are the best, by far. I’ve used Toyota sightline, Bosch, rainx, and others. Everything besides the original blades chatter or leave gaps in coverage as they go back and forth.

Only blade I've found that are not noisy or terrible for my Tundra is the Rain X Silicone Enduro blades. Every other one Ive tried, OEM, Sightlines, Regular rainx, all were very noisy or skipped.

Just glad I squeaked in under the 12/12 warranty! Other than the wipers truck has been problem free and a blast!

Almost 4 years and 39k miles on my original blades. Got another set of factory blades for when needed.

This right here ^^^. My OEM's lasted 4.5 years (that's not a typo). I only replaced them cuz the passenger blade got a small tear and made a streak Mrs McGov. couldn't live with. Driver's side was still clear. Sightline's are not true pure OEM wiper blades.

I’m at 65k miles on my 2018. I have cleaned my blades with rubbing alcohol maybe twice.

    Wipers still perform like new.

I’m in Oregon, so the wipers get used ALOT.

Are your wipers breaking down because of year round heat or something?

Its my understanding that unless the dealer has old stock, the "Siteline Brand" is the current OEM replacement blade for the Tundra. It even has the Toyota name and logo on it.

Did not have to say anything. Was coming home in some bad rain and the bades just started chattering real bad so I was only running intermittent. When I brought it to the dealer after learning they might be covered it did the same for them while it was raining! Lucky me as I was getting ready to spend bucks!!

They did try to say I must have used some sort of coating on the windshield like Rain X but I did not.

Custom bug spat pattern hood, grill & bumper. Dead Live Oak leaf collection under hood, cowl and lower fenders. Beach sand custom floor covering.
After bragging here my wipers were well behaved they started misbehaving by chattering. Since I'm using rain-ex I'm sure the dealer will blame that. Even though every other car I've owned for decades got the Rain-ex and worked fine. Today I tried giving each wiper an alcohol clean to see if that helps.

I’ve had my 2018 for 15 months and three wipers have broken off from ice or most recently the brackets just busted off that secured the wiper to the arm.

I was using Trico…and need to figure out a better alternative as they need to be replaced

Well back to chattering with the dealer replaced blades. . Will have to give other brand a try!

Also notice that a lot of the online replacement blades come at 26" and 22" vs factory OEM which is 26" and 23".

Well. Went to Toyota today for my 10K service. They did what was required and addressed the headlight harness recall. While there I went to the parts department to see for myself exactly what was available for replacement blades. Guess what! The ones similar to my original were NOT Sightlines and went for $35 per side. Sightlines were much less and quite frankly did not look as sturdy as my origianals. My concern is that under warranty they replaced my OEM blades with Sightline which in my case are chattering 2 months later. Thet DID NOT replace the blades with the more expensive ones which is what I had and appear to be made much better. Can I go back and ask for the better ones or am I wasting my time???

Well looks like Toyota is going to give me the more expensive replacement blades like the truck came with from the factory at no cost. Seems the Sightline are warranted for a year but are known to be of lesser quality and do not work as well on the Tundra as the other trucks they sell with smaller glass.!
