Just took my 2020 to the dealership yesterday for my second oil change. First pic is 5,000 miles first oil change and dealership recommending cabin air filter replacement… denied and replaced that day with one at auto zone. Second pic and second oil change @ 11,000 miles with same thing. My truck is pretty much a street queen that gets 5,000 miles a year. Is my dealership bending me over or is this normal. The whole time I was waiting for my truck I was wishing I was back there watching the Mech. Checked fluid level after, was good and clean but definitely getting a fumoto valve and doing myself from now on.38A09C3E-40E0-48E1-A6D1-8A1A22DC64FA.jpg00CA21E9-1834-4AF1-896C-4002BB8DD1CF.jpg

Next one you put in, write your name and date on the side of it in an off-color ink.

I can tell you mine doesn't look that bad after 20k

Looks like rodents are getting in the intake port for climate control. Did you or anyone else screen the hole? It's about 7-9"x 2" under the passenger side windsheild cowling. I screened mine last year with some 1/4" hardware cloth and self driiling sheet metal screw. There is a story here in the forum of a member getting deathly ill over rodent droppings in his filter and vents. Hit the search box here and read the story and also search how others screened their trucks.

I think I’m going to keep an eye on it over the next couple months and if it persists I might have to go that route
