If I were to buy the Hewitt bypass kit, will it still cause the truck to produce higher emissions? I talked to Hewitt and they said the truck would run rich the first 90 seconds but he said the difference is marginal.

If Hewitt says it will run rich for the first 90 seconds, and "if" that equates to higher emissions, "then" it probably will (for 90 seconds)...... just curious, is that a problem?

For up to 90 seconds I’m not sure what happens after that. It should usually be 30-60 seconds

Depends on ambient air and coolant temps
