Do the platinum or 1974 come with a locking rear end? I know it comes as part of the trd package for a limited, but how do you add it to the others?

You should be able to get it as part of the TRD-OR package in the 1794 but it's not available for the Platinum.

It's not like they couldn't offer the the locker on the Platinum but Toyota knows that 99% of Platinum trim level buyers will never take it off road let alone be in a situation where they need to engage the rear locker so they don't bother.

I want a limited with the trd off road… but it seems I could spend the couple grand more for a platinum/1974 and get it a lot sooner
