    Stage 3 harrop.. prospeed fuel rails.. 750cc injectors..racing fuel pump..smaller pulley...Arh long tube headers...lexus 500 throttle body...ported supercharger...racing oil pump...upgraded valve body...prospeed cold air intake...procomp stage2 6 inch lift
I have a Stage 2 Harrop, smaller pulley, 750cc injectors, upgraded fuel rails, racing fuel pump and AN fittings..I threw a P0894 code slipping transmission and a P0420 catalytic converter and this had sent me into limp mode..would it be better to get the engine forged..it has 92k miles on it and runs perfect.. get rid of the cats and do the transmission and forge all together or just the transmission and see how long the engine holds out..pros and cons of doing them together..thank you

If it ain't broke don't fix it. I would do the trans and drive it. Unless you are beating the snot out of it the engine should have a good bit of life in it. If it goes, then rebuild it to a higher spec. I also have a 2014 Tundra with the Harrop. Mine has about 72k on it and I hope for many more. I am hoping the trans lasts a while also...

Why jump to an engine build when that's not going to solve your issues. I can't advise on the cat but I would suspect one or more might be on their way out. I would do the IPT valve body upgrade at a minimum. Talk to John Lombardo at IPT. He will likely be the one who answers the phone. He's been working on transmissions for 30 years and knows our transmissions well. I would bet that he will tell you the upgrade might fix the issue, but it really depends on the condition of the clutch packs. I think @snivilous has an IPT trans. Wait until the motor goes before going the forged route, unless you really have money burning a hole in your pocket. I think the most important thing you can do is get a proper tune.

I wish I had a IPT trans! I paid about the same for an apparently lightly built new unit. I doubt a valve body does anything, but if you're replacing the trans and have time to wait on IPT I'd go that route (I didn't have time which is why I don't have their trans). If you're waiting on an IPT trans I guess now is as good a time as any to build the engine out if you want, sounds like there's no need yet, and if you have a good tune and stage 2 the engine should last awhile I'd think. But if you plan to crank the boost and have $6k or whatever and the time and knowledge to rebuild it then go for it :D
