No it’s not, it’s only at participating southeast dealers and it’s only for about a week.

I missed the southeast part and he’s in the west coast. Oops by bad.

Thanks. I don't see myself doing anything else other than drain & fill. drain and fill on all other cars as well and no issues!

Not directly related but what the heck. I used permatex transmission RTV to reseal the transmission pan on my 2001 Lexus. Within days a drip developed, then drips, then blah blah blah. Went got the Toyota brand, it was successful for 18 years, used it. Zero drips. So no everything isn't the same even if it says it meets the spec. Reason had to reseal the pan was I had to replace a solenoid, filter kit came with a gasket that started leaking after 9 months.

Typically leaks after replacing a pan gasket are due to uneven torque on the pan bolts and or over tightening. I owned many Fords and dropped the pan at 30k, changed the filter if a paper one, and refilled. The torque specs were in inch lbs. I believe it was either 120 or 144. Regardless it was pretty light. The cork gaskets were more prone to leaks than the reusable rubber ones.

Did they actually ship it to you? I have had dealers refuse to ship ATF and Induction service kits since they are considered HazMat.

I can’t say that I have tried, but that’s surprising to hear. I don’t see anything listed on that webpage so worst case they’ll just cancel the order and refund you, but seems unlikely.

It makes no sense since they will ship engine oil. This isn't the only Toyota dealership that has told me this. Also had it happen with a Subaru dealer.

I was going to buy one in the name of science but failed to realize the free shipping is only on orders over $75. Would’ve made that quart of ATF $30 delivered, so for now we’ll continue to wonder.

I have bought WS on Amazon and no problem with shipping. I have never bought it locally. I also buy pool chemicals online.

I was on the wrong dealer page and yes I was getting charged a hazmat may fee. If I recall it had a haz mat symbol. Even my dealer had the fee till I switched to pick up.

I used an in-lb torque wrench with the gasket, with the shit permetex and with the Toyota sealant. Not a single drip weep or drop with the Toyota sealant. Sometimes OEM do know the most as they are the only ones that have to warrant for 3 years/36K miles. Sometimes it isn't the installer its just a shit product.

I did the same when installing my trans cooler, just got two quarts from Amazon but it was more expensive. I plan to do a a couple drain/fills as PM in the future would like to source it cheaper than Amazon.

I could live with a reasonable fee, however I have found that dealers flat out refuse to ship it. I'm sure there a some that will, but I have not put in the effort to find one yet.
