Full inspection. All the lights, horn, brakes, a/c, heat, check the oil, check trans fluid if it has a dipstick, check coolant, look for signs of rodents in the engine valley. I’d crawl all over something for about an hour. I’d also look under the seat covers and steering wheel cover.

According to condition of the items mentioned above, I'd have no problem making a counter offer or even accepting the 13K price. A DC Limited with good bones and innards, is somewhat a steal for that price. Zooming in shows that the interior is in decent shape and the driver exterior paint shown is still holding up well. I'm partial to Salsa Red Pearl !
Too bad the VIN was not shown in any of the pics.

I'd want to know where the truck has lived. Super careful inspection of the frame. You'll want to see proof timing belt was done within the last 30-40k miles, else be ready to eat about $1500 on that and the water pump if you let someone else do the work.

I notice some rusty bolts in the engine bay. Only reason I'd be wary this may've been driven in salt and/or lived in a rust belt state.

I always ask for the vin# first, and do the googling.

If you can get the vin you can plug it into the Toyota owners app and see where any dealership maintenance has been performed and potentially save yourself a trip to check it out if it’s been imported from someplace like Iowa. It does look clean though, I’d definitely be prepared to replace that radiator before too long, best to do it on your terms and save yourself the headache. Napa sells Denso for 15x$? Instead of dealer wanting $4xx ‍Or whatever they charge out by you.

I did not see that. Yep that’s not the actual mileage on the truck, most likely it’s got a lot more miles. That be a hard pass for me.

This was my thought also, and if there is an odometer issue, it would show up in carfax/vin report. This really doesn't look like a million mile truck to me, but ... 'trust but verify' indeed.

I think the CL poster just isn't too savvy posting 4 sale ads. Verify the actual mileage for sure, but probably just a f**k up on the ad poster side. The miles are most likely accurate. If that were a 1,000,000 plus 149,000 mile truck Toyota would want to buy it back and see what they did right.
