I had to do it, I got rid of my 2022 Tundra SR5.

I decided to go with a 2022 Tundra Platinum

The SR5 is a fantastic trim level, a lot of configurations possible. But I have always wanted a Platinum. I actually found a Platinum at msrp, so pretty happy about it.

 

That blue is gorgeous. A guy I know just bought almost the identical truck. And it really is sweet.

 

Cant blame you. I sat in a green SR5 and then in my silver platinum....no way I was settling for the SR5 after that

Here I was expecting some kind of hate fir the true turd gen.

 

Not going to lie. after PDI’ing a couple of them. If I wanted to go into debt for years I’d buy one. But I’d immediately be fixing the grill situation. They ride really nice though.

 

I'm still not crazy about the new body style, but this body/grill color combo is making me do a double-take. She's a beaut! Congrats!

Curious about this as well. I've seen some used low mileage 2022 SR5s listed in my area for around 65k. I wouldn't be surprised if people were playing close to those prices tbh.

 

Damn. My SR5 was $58K after TT&L new and has the TRD Off Road package.
