Did the 38 gallon tank swap last week everything went smooth truck runs normal, but the blasted check fuel cap warning comes on and stays on every time I crank the truck except when I start the truck after its warmed up. I went back through the system everything is secured correctly I'm confused. Help!

Checked for codes in the ECU?

Wonder if you have a EVAP leak detected or not.

Could occur cold vs hot engine due to the self test parameters. Leak could be detected during the self test chiming a warning upon next restart. Self tests are run engine off.

Typical Toyota it self healed, haven't seen the error message in over 400 miles. (knock on wood) I did check for codes but nothing was showing.
