2021 sr5 came with steel wheels. Swapped to Trd alloy rims and now local dealers have no way of know what tpms sensors I need to make tpms to work properly. Already tried flipping the original sensors with no luck. Any ideas or anyone experienced this and how to fix it

Steel wheels use different sensors vs the stock TRD alloys. Any Toyota dealer can assist or call sparksparts.com

No sir. Local Toyota dealer here doesn’t have a clue to fix it. Gonna have to drive 3 hours to another dealership to have them out correct sensors in for me.

Contact sparks parts or mcgeorge toyota. Ask for 2021 sensors for the OR package wheels. There are a few styles, Steel wheels use a different one that will not work with the OR wheels. Then in 2018+ they changed how the TMPS works/talks so you need the newer sensors for the OR package wheels.

Ok thank you sir. I did speak with parts at another dealership and that’s the part number he called off and actually had them in stock. So I’m going to schedule with that dealership and keep my fingers crossed

Well after 6 hrs today at second dealership I’ve gained no ground. They programmed 3 different sets of tpms sensors, without any luck at all. They said exam keeps showing max air pressure on all of them but receiver is not recognizing them. So Toyota dealer is gonna replace the receiver and see if that corrects it
