Anyone figure the trick to toggle between these two?

On the head unit, does CarPlay have a Toyota logo'ed "app" icon when you go to the home screen? That is how Android Auto allows going back to the Toyota system. Then to get back to Android Auto, you hit the AA icon on the left of the screen. Not very intuitive.

On the main screen there’s a Toyota “app” that will take you back to the main infotainment environment.

IMG_6325.jpg I just figured it out. If you toggle to ON the Use for phone and Use for media switches, then you cannot use Apple CarPlay. If you toggle OFF those two then you can activate Use for Apple CarPlay.

You hit the bottom left corner button to toggle between screens. You can also scroll through all the screens by swiping left or right on the touchscreen.

You can only have Carplay OR “use for media/phone” active but not both.
