I have one of those 1/2" XR impacts. I feel like I could shear lug studs with it. by far my favorite tool.

I have an old Harbor Freight electric impact. It works real well. Cordless would be awesome though.

Yeeeeep. The venerable DCF899 cordless impact. One must be VERY VERY careful when they use one of those. Under full load they are known to slow the earth's rotation and throw all the clocks off by 2 seconds. So f'n awesome.

    Very nice bling!

I have most of those wrenches and sockets or the ones I really need.
I have that 1/2 impact, it is money!

Like others have said, it will shear studs, and may slow the earth's rotation at times lmao.
Have to pay attention or it will torque your wrist.

Now I just need a bigger, fancier toolbox with a garage to store it in.

Bah! That's for beer not tools!

    J/K!

They make some good stuff also, lots of people use them.

Dewalt has never let me down, seems to cost a bit more but after researching that was the cordless impact to get.
No regrets at all, this thing is awesome.
Mechanic name brand ones (snap on, mac, matco, ingersal, etc) are usually hella more expensive for no good reason except to rip off mechanics.

I use to be all dewalt, but lately their batteries aint worth a shit. I use my dewalt for work and keep the good shit home, no way am I taking the milwaukee shit to work. My packout would be gone in a flash.... I do agree with your observation concerning snap on mac and matco, but at the end of the day, milwaukee is worth the extra coin.

    Too many, but not enough....
Dewalt is the way to go. I just got a free rotary hammer drill with the purchase of 2 new style batteries from Lowes! I think the promo is still going on, worth a look!

I have a snap-on 3/8 impact at work and dewalt 3/8 and 1/2 impact at home. I like the dewalt better has more power but the snap-on is nice because it is real small and charge lasts a long time
