I washed my car more in Gran turismo 2 than I do my truck. I think I'm just not gonna wash Ironman anymore and see what happens. I'll just clean the glass when I fill up.

I had a 99 hunnid, and ran reggie with no issues. Even pulled heavy that way.

Here's a couple of pictures of her. I made a mistake selling it, wife was after me about too many cars.

We had an Acura MDX and it recommended running premium fuel. Same engine as the Ridgeline and Pilot. They both say regular is fine. I always ran regular. Always ran fine. Even towed a Camry cross country with it on a front end dolly.

Quick question when buying rear leaf springs:

    What else should I get?

I wish I could help you with some advice. I have my leafs on but haven’t driven much with them. Also still waiting on damn rear shocks. So not sure about ride quality. I want to believe it’s awesome. But I’ve just not done enough with it to know and it’s not done yet either.

probably more noticeable when loaded or towing? A shell and boxes of mods like fender flares don’t really show any difference.

I was more along the lines of:
    New u bolts
    New shackles
    New something else

If I hit the lotto this truck would be the best 1st gen around, no questions asked.

I think just new u bolts or maybe a u bolt flip kit, unless your shackle bushing is toast, I’d maybe leave them alone?

    Oh yeah definitely u bolts.

I didn’t do new shackles. I suspect I should have. I need to understand the archive garage stuff better.

I'm not sure if it's toast. I haven't dealt with my rear springs yet, but at 325k miles, I'm sure they're ready.

I don't necessarily need archives, I don't think. My main purpose is just getting fresh shit in. I don't need hauling or towing, and the Toytec lift will AAL.

Spring seat is a plate below the axles the u bolts go through. You only need them if yours are rusted out.

I've got a joke as well. How does looking for an air tank turn into looking for three tanks, one water?

I looked up a list of sister cities for amarillo in California and none popped up. I think it may be from the difference of opinion our states share. Anyways, amarillo is almost entirely rust free, much like CA. No need to replace here.

When you want to add a pressurized water tank because you now have a compressor, but after doing some research, a closed system looks better, but the size water tank you want comes with the wrong ports, so you size down but keep the same volume of water by adding another tank for air pressure. And then there is the first tank you started looking for, one for the compressor.

At times I wish. But I'm the guy that tells the engineer his plans look good on paper but won't work. :)
I'm actually a lifeguard. High up now, but the whole Bay Watch thing for years.

damint, insurance is fixing the LS430. looks like im not lucking out

further dive into the a760, it looks like the stock 750 transfer case will bolt up. no idea on spline count. but a760 seems to be damn near identical externally to the 750. so this should be almost a bolt in swap. legit likely can use stock drive shafts too.

this project will be in the back of my mind for a while. hoping a test mule truck pops up for sale cheap. i would love to do this swap right now but i cant be down the truck like that. a test mule would allow me to perfect it.. but its looking like its totally doable with minimal wiring. even the shift linkage should bolt right up.

That’s a deal. I wonder how good those springs are. I feel like the OEM 1st Gen are way better than the 2nd Gen ones. I really abused mine and never had problems. I’m guessing those do well. I think the design was just better for the truck.

So I should have replaced my shackles then? I didn't think of that. Because they break or wear out?

Once we get them in we should be heading to an off road park. I'll update the crew.
