Local dealers are getting two Tundras each month with the current allocation by Toyota. Problem with the process is that the dealers' buyers are ordering trucks without the electronic locking rear differential that I want for my next truck.

Ordered and put $ down to hold on December 2nd. Still no word on my build date. Just patiently waiting cause I figure the later I get it, better chance of issues being resolved.

1794 trd off road pkg, 5.5 bed, windchill pearl, and white interior.

Anyone know if production has resumed on the platinum and 1794 trims? Heard a few wks ago it was halted due to parts being needed. Still no build date for my 1794.

My dealer in Ontario notified me on Feb 15th that my Platinum was in production and expected delivery date was April 15-25.

Is yours a 5.5 or 6.5 box? My dealer said (also ON) that the 6.5 I have a deposit on is the thing holding it back and is expected around the same time. I had a deposit on a 5.5 as well and that should be arriving mid March.

Hi all, new here, I have joined the Tundra bandwagon.
Put a deposit down early Feb for a 4x4 sr crewmax trd sport trim in ON, was told June. I'm so anxious to get my hands on it.

Finally! Today I got confirmation on a tentative build in May for my 1794 with delivery sometime in July. Not an exact date but at least I'm not in limbo anymore. Hopefully they'll have most of the issues ironed out by then.

This is what I was told today by who I believe is the biggest dealer in the Denver metro area: They get an allotment list of new tundras every 2 weeks. Typically that includes 1 or 2 of the higher trim levels (plat, 1794) and 5 or so SR5 tundras. Wind Chill pearl has been a hard color to come by. They are quoting 4-6 months for a platinum or 1794. They would not share how many buyers they have on a waiting list or specifically which model people are waiting for.

Expand your search. I found a good amount of dealerships with unreserved Tundras coming in the next few weeks. I was able to move around my deposits to get one that is coming in at the end of March (SR5 CM in Lunar Rock, Sport Prem, ADV pkg with Pred Steps, etc.). I was thinking about grabbing a Limited in Mag Gray but I've been hunting a Lunar for years and I'll upgrade to the higher trims in the future if need be.

What part of north America are you in? I'm not seeing any unreserved Tundras in all my looking on the West Coast through Idaho Montana, SLC, Nevada. I'm on 9-10 dealer lists now, with 3 deposits down, but I'm not holding my breath. (though, I want a Limited Crewmax 6.5 with TRD Offroad and moonroof, so I know I'm hunting a fairly uncommon beast).

I'm in the DMV (DC,Maryland, Virginia). I've found available Tundras ranging from Mass to FL, and as far west as AZ.

Well interesting. I’ve been using AutoTrader for my nationwide searches but every single hit out west has been “oh yeah, that one’s sold, but we can add you to our list.”

If you want, I could PM you spec sheets of two incoming Limiteds at two different dealerships but they're in Maryland (and most likely markups).

I really appreciate it. For now, I'm hoping to find something within a couple days' drive of me, so ... west of the Mississippi, at least :). I'm fine flying out and driving home, but that's getting more expensive these days. And I have a few dealers putting in build order requests for me. This is like a game of roulette, or a slow day of fishing.

(I *did* just make a call to a dealer 1761 miles away from me, and nowhere near an airport, on a truck that was a pretty close match to my wishlist. But that truck was sold already.)

LOL it didn’t give me enough room!

The SS is decisively faster and harder accelerating than the old Tundra though. Way quicker.
