Hey guys. I’ve just recently received my rocksliders and when trying to put the passenger side on I noticed that not all of the holes lined up. What has been your experience with installing these? Mine are bedliner coated. I’m not sure if the bedliner coating is causing some of the alignment issues. Any information and pictures will be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Just got mine this week with bedliner coating. Attempting install Saturday. Did you ever figure out the problem?

I finally ended up getting everything put together with the exception of the back bolt on the driver side. I gave up. There’s just no space to get in there. My 38 gallon gas tank is too big. I do like the design of the sliders and it feels like they’re built extremely well but I will never use this company again. Bad communication, I waited three times the expected time for the build, after I received the rocksliders it was missing parts and they had to overnight them to me, and the install had no directions. It was a fucking nightmare. Well over 6 hours to install. The good news for you is you have a 2014. It might lineup perfectly for the older trucks. It definitely does not for the TRD pro. I know for a fact the bedliner coating will change the alignment a bit. Good luck.

Yeah, I have the smaller tank, hopefully that will help make it easier. I too waited 12 weeks. I used their chat to keep checking on order status. They're in process of moving to a bigger warehouse. I haven't laid out all the parts yet so no telling if I'm missing anything, but I bought extra flat and lock washers already. Any other install advice? Start with passenger side first?

I would start passenger side. It will take at least two people. You can watch a video on their YouTube channel but it’s very limited on information and it makes it look a lot easier than it really is. There’s a couple of decent tips on there but overall the video is pretty worthless. If you decide to get additional bolts and washers just make sure everything is grade 8. That’s what it comes with already and they’re very strong. Also, it might not hurt to get some crows feet for the driver side. It’ll help you hold the nut when you put the clamp bolts on it from underneath.
