I wonder if anyone has adapted a set of Amp Research power steps for a Tacoma or 4Runner, to fit a 2.5 gen Tundra CM?

Is there a reason you aren't buying the ones that fit the Tundra?

Highly doubt it. They probably just buy the ones that are made for a Tundra. :der:

He probably has a set from the tacoma/4runner hence the ask to save money.

No idea if its possible or what the size difference is.

If you do have the tacoma/4runner ones just sell them and buy the correct Tundra ones.
I sorta regret going with the OBDII PNP version over the hard wire because now my IBDII port is always blocked if I want to use it for other things or add other things there.
I was just being lazy and did not want to deal with wiring it up myself.
Still never fixed the drivers door step LED light, it worked off and on for a week after install and has not come back on sense.
Only issue I have had in 2 years.

I would think the motors are the same size and the only thing needed is mounting hardware
