Anybody have any experiences with the Coach Builder 1 inch shackle (.65 lift) and the rear factory TRD sway bar? I spoke to Coach Builder and he said it’s an upgrade over stock. I do believe him because he was spot on with the front 1 inch spacers and the alignment specs he suggested. According to the research I shouldn’t run into clearance issues but we know how that goes. Just wondering if anyone has this setup and what they think…

I didn’t want to touch the rear and I love the stance and ride quality up front and out back. HOWEVER it constantly looks like it’s sagging in the ass. Not a fan of getting these Tundras any where near level but that’s just me. And lately I have been loading a decent amount of weight in the bed…just looks bad.

    Appreciate any input, thanks.

Factory leaf springs on these truck suck and don't like weight. They will let it sag. I have to replace mine and I don't even haul weight.

I don’t think you will have any issues. Plenty of people in the rear sway bar thread that are higher than stock height. Some have rotated the sway bar hardware 90 degrees for higher lifts.

Did you have to rotate yours?

All my Tacoma’s were like that so I get it unfortunately…

Put a floor jack under your hitch and move it up. See how much travel you have before you notice binding

I am running a coachbuilder 1 inch shackle with the TRD rear sway bar. Definitely an upgrade over stock, and no issues with clearance. The shackle reduced bed bounce, and the sway bar really helped with body roll.

I also have the Pro suspension, a 2" lift in front that levels the truck. I installed the coachbuilder +1 shackle to add back in a little rake.

I have the +2 coachbuilder shackles and the TRD rear sway bar. It is definitely an improvement over stock. I also have the Icon mini pack so I added the brake line extension kit so that the rear end can droop without pulling on the brake lines.

I have the Coachbuilder +2 (1.25” of actual lift) and sway bar with no issues.

Big improvement over stock and reducing bed bounce.

I had the shackles installed today and went for a 15 mile ride. I am very impressed, it does in fact ride nicer. It seems to compliment the sway bar very well, especially in turns. And it brought my stance back to factory rake which I am very happy with. The mechanic said it was really easy install and enjoyed working on a new truck.

Thanks again for everyone who chimed in!
