Got these wheels/tires installed today and added the black letters to the tailgate.
Do the mud flaps need to go? I can’t decide..

Unless you do a lot off road, I would leave the mud flaps. Keeps less s*&t from getting all over your truck. jmo. Looks good like that!

I’d keep the mud flaps with similar comments above.

What size did you end up with?

Get a propane soldering torch or heat gun and "modify" the flaps as needed.

Are your smaller mudflaps in front of the wheels hitting or the ones behind the wheels. I have same rims on a leveled shocks and I only had to remove the front smaller mudflaps. they hit only in reverse while turning.

    That’s encouraging.
I’m not sure which one it is. I gave it a quick look and just figured it was the back. It’s been raining all afternoon and I haven’t had a chance to look.

My 295/70r17s on 17x8.5 0 offset wheels rubbed my mudflaps a little as well. I just trimmed the portion of the mudflaps out where it was rubbing and they still have a lot of strength and integrity to them and I haven’t had an issue since.

So when I turn the wheel right, they rub the front ones. When I turn left, they rub the rear ones.
Im going to take the smaller front ones off and do the torch surgery on the back ones.
