    2022 Black Tundra SR5 TRD Sport Double cab
    Running boards, more things to come.
    New owner of a midnight black metallic 2022 Tundra dbl cab SR5 trd sport. Have owned 2002 and 2008 Tundras(both SR5's) then went to a new 2018 Titan Platinum (all were crew cabs). The Nissan turned out to be a lemon, replaced the motor after 40,000Kms then transmission at 62,000Kms (under warranty). I had some other issues with the seat heaters and tailgate, so decided it was time to part with it. Both my previous Tundras were bought used with low Kms and never had any serious issues with them. Now back to Toyota. Hoping I made the right choice. So far, love the truck. Has a everything I want or need in a truck and I got a really good trade in value with my Titan. The Toyota dealer had almost no inventory on his lot and was looking for trade in's. He actually took me over another person who was offering cash. How things have changed. I upgraded my tires to larger more aggressive AT tires, got side steps for my wife, and bought a bed mat so things don't slide in the back. I want to get the truck leveled (not a lift as I don't want to kill the gas mileage), the hard tonneau cover, and a folding corner step for the back bumper. Oh and yes tow hooks if they come out with them in the aftermarket.
