I just bought my 2013 Tundra. This black hourglass shaped piece of plastic or rubber is mounted in the driver seat area near the driver’s right leg. Any ideas? I’ve tried to manipulate but it doesn’t seem to move or shift in any direction. Looks like a magnetic pistol mount, to me.

Thank you everyone for all the replies. I don’t know why I ended up putting it on a third gen thread. I guess that was my mistake. I’ll be more careful in the future. I have some more questions about this truck I’ll try to put them in the right threads

    Pretty things
Perhaps they want to keep it to cover the holes in their console. I believe these devices are fairly inexpensive and easy to source tho

I would have installed it inside the console, and maybe that's what I'll do once I finally remove the velcro which the PO stuck in there for possibly the same purpose.

I was mostly joking to be honest. If they OP is not a gun guy I figured he'd probably have no use for it. They are less than 40 bucks on most websites
