    Hey all,

Have a 22 Tundra Sport in Blueprint coming (apparently end of April.....). Wondering if there's any advice on trades from what people have been getting. I'm in Canada so looking forward to the Sport as it's equipped with most of what I want (thought I wish I could upgrade the seats).

I'm trading a 2013 Ram Sport with 150k on it. It needs a few things in the next while. If I was keeping it I'd be getting new tires (has K02's on it) and doing the front brakes and there's a bit of a rattle underneath likely from some shielding. Not sure it's worth doing much to it before a trade other than some detailing, but wanted to see how people were doing with their trades. If I'd get the money back I'd put the work into it ahead of time, but not sure it's worth it?

What are your tax laws? Here in Tennessee, I don't pay tax on my trade-in value, because I already paid tax on that equity in a previous transaction. The question then becomes, can I sell it privately for higher than the amount of tax I'll save by trading it in?

Adding repairs to the equation complicates it further. Shielding rattle is usually very easy and cheap to fix yourself. If your tires and brakes have decent life left, I'd leave them alone.

Yeah, you save the tax on the trade here as well. I'm hoping it's shielding but will take a better look when I can.

I’m trading in a 21 CM TRD off road SR5.

have had some issues with it, and dealer is paying me what I paid for it a year ago, plus adding tonneau cover and skid plate on their dime and 5 year 120k warranty.

So. To say the used market is bonkers right now in Canada is a massive understatement. Guaranteed my dealer gonna put this on a truck and send it to the states where the will get the same price they pay me for it, but in USD.
