I am old, probably really old compared to many on this site. In fact they think its a joke when I go looking for some light wrenching to keep occupied. My love is m/c's and the trucks haul them. I just acquired my 1st every 2005 toyota tundra. I have owned plenty fords and chev's in my day, and a ridgeline got me into a import believer. If this tundra supports the same 500k I will be more than happy, it's half way there now. So far there is nothing to fix, and the 1st upgrade is a little more modern radio. Its enroute, and I will need to determine the factory speaker wire colours, but the 1st thing is understand how to work this forum. ie (how to send this message)

    Welcome from Florida's Gulf Coast.

I was a long time honda guy also. Cars, bikes, lawnmowers, outboards they all ran great forever.

I have had my '21 Tundra for almost one year. I felt like a trator at first, but I love my tundra. I hope you find your Tundra to be as awesome as I find mine.

    Welcome from Dallas.
My first Tundra was a 2005, I miss it sometimes.

Most Toyota radio wirings are pretty basic.
Depends on which radio you have.

    This might help.
2005 Toyota Tundra Car Radio Wiring Diagram - MODIFIEDLIFE

Here is a basic HU speaker wiring schematic for a 2005 Tundra.
    Thank you to @RainMan_PNW

Then it goes on to more complicated wiring if there are separate woofers and tweeters.
My old SR5 just had 4 door speakers.

    2006 is the same as a 2005.
He is right, don't drop the screws/bolts in the dash.
    Don't ask me how I know that..
