I’ve done a few quick searches but not found an answer. Wondering how much boost the engine is running stock. Anyone with a 2022 and a scan tool that has looked?

Here is the result, idling and under power in Sport drive mode.

The absolute boost is topping at 32.7psi. Taking off the 14.7psi (atmospheric pressure), puts the max boost at around 18psi.

Intake manifold pressure numbers you posted are absolute, not gauge. So you have to subtract atmospheric pressure (14.7 psi at sea level) to get gauge pressure.

I’m pretty sure the boost pressure numbers you posted are absolute as well, but a quick KOEO reading would confirm that.

The 49% throttle at 203% load doesn’t make a lot of sense to me, but maybe that’s from me sniffing too much diesel. :notsure:

I think you are correct, the psi at idle was 14.7, then 32.7 under load, which puts the boost at 18psi. I’m editing the post above.

The load value and throttle position does not make sense either. However, I think throttle position is relative to what drive mode you are in.

I’ve seen about 10~15 psi boost so 18 makes sense.
Load and throttle makes sense to me. This seems to be absolute load which means the cylinder is intaking 200% of air mass. The throttle doesn’t need to open all the way because of the boost. If you had maf you could calculate load.

Burgertuning dyno a stock 2022 SR5 Tundra and it made peak boost of 10 psi.

They barely hit 350 lb-ft. They didn’t get WOT until like 4000 rpm. Their accel was at like 45% or less and you can see boost pressure goes up when they hit WOT. Most of the higher boost will be at lower engine speed. At higher engine speed boost will start to taper off.

Thanks for checking. Was guessing it would be somewhere around 1 atmosphere, but looks to be a little higher than that.
