Me too. I was making a joke that apparently did not come across correctly.

Hopefully none are part of the recall.

I figured. But some people in these threads probably did exactly what you said.

Too late, I cried for hours as I looked at my steering gear in embarrassment and shame, all thanks to you.

I will say, after the DCM update my sensors have a much broader range. Especially backing up, I used to be inches away from something before it would activate. Now it’s picking up items at a much greater distance.

    Stock for now
I just bought my new to me '21 in December but I ran the VIN to ensure it didn't fall into the power steering recall before purchase. When I got my letter the other day, I was afraid that they had expanded the VINs impacted. But no as has been posted its only if you have had replacement parts manufactured after Aug '21.

I'm not sure I need the DCM TSB update either....my freakin sensors are too sensitive as it is!

It seems like there was a sensitivity setting somewhere under options in the dash or radio for the sensors. Maybe it got reset to max with the update.

After the DCM update I noticed that I don't have to turn on wifi every time I drive it, it stays on now.

Didn't notice any difference in my sensors.

Let me clarify my statement, my parking sensors always worked as needed. My back up sensor would not activate until I was literally in the red. Now it's activating at a greater distance. I don't see any greater distance in the 4 side sensors.
