    Do I need to remove the foam? I just noticed it today, I’m gonna be driving to Arizona and I’m scared this coz a fire while doing a long drive and hot weather?

    The foam is designed to be there. Leave it alone. You’ll be fine.

    Sure. I have the same foam on my 17. I assume it’s actually there as some type of heat shield. You would be doing more harm removing it.
