I have 18’ TRD 4x4 Offroad. I want to level it up and add a ARB bumper and winch. Still want to tow my tractor and trailer , 20ft utility trailer and my 22’ bay boat. Been looking at Eibach coil overs but unsure what is needed if anything for the rear when adding front coil overs. This is kinda new to me but not completely foreign as I have gone with coil overs on my FJ

    looking forward to the suggestions!

    thank
    You

When you level the truck it wont take much weight in the rear for it to look like it is sagging. A shackle/add a leaf/block/airbags are the way to go. If its just for looks and not hardcore offroad a shackle or block are more cost effective.

    Thanks,
It would be no hard core 4wheeling . I use the truck for hauling the tractor and boat as well as load it up with feed corn for my trapping business. Usually around 30 sack of corn.. don’t want it to be squatting when I am towing or loaded with the corn. A leaf added peaks my intrest. What does the shackles do?

Shackle connect you leaf spring to the frame, a longer shackle is like a longer spring, that’s how it lift the back

    Welcome aboard.
dig around a bit within the suspension thread and check out the search bar for specifics. seems like rear may be fine unless you wanna stiffen it up with something like add-a-leafs or air bags for the rear

Just added the arb bumper and winch recently. you are going to want some heavy duty coils. I recommend OME 2613 HD springs. If you are wanting to lift the rear I would recommend OME dakar add a leaf or check out Coachbuilder shackles for the Tundra. I would steer clear of blocks, they are junk. I will be adding OME’s full kit nitrocharger kit soon. It’s 2.5” lift overall and comes with shocks, hd coils, and new leaf packs.

If you want guaranteed no sag put airbags in the rear. If I towed/hauled regularly I would install them on my truck.

Tundra18overland, was that just springs or coil overs? , stock rear springs with the shackles? I have coil overs on my FJ with the ARB bumper, different vehicles but like the Ability to adjust the front

Gonna need a heavier coil on the front if you’re adding that big bumper

I am running the arb summit bumper and warn 12k winch. Prior to install I had bilstein 5100s on top setting (approx 2.3” lift) and the added weight of bumper and winch pulled my front end down about 1.5”
This is why you need heavy duty coils if you want to keep your lift. Go with Old man Emu heavy duty springs (part no 2613) and some quality shocks for the front and rear. Or see if Eibach offers a heavy duty coil for the front shocks if you want to go with Eibach
Like the other guy said AirBags is the best option to fully eliminate any sag, but will probably run to $1,000+ With parts and labor for a quality kit (would also recommend air bag cradles if you ever plan on off roading in the future)
If you don’t want to do the bags then the coachbuilder shackles are a great option. Add a Leaf may give you another 0.5” of rear lift. Do some more reading on blocks to form your own opinion on them, but they are junk in my opinion. Also keep in mind those shackles are going to give you more rake in the back (rear will sit higher) but once you load down your bed, you may then sit level.

Damn nice. You went all in for sure. Air bags for the rear if you are gonna be towing a lot. I use to tow a bobcat regularly with F250 and Dodge 2500, put Firestone airbags on both and nothing else. Works like a charm.

Thanks, when it is complete I will post up again. As for the air bags that may be a option after this once I see how it settles. The tractor is a JD 4410 rides on a 10,000 lb trailer. It is usually local towed 20 miles about, but the occasional trip to Central Texas to the big ranch there. Just not a fan of air bags but keeping my options open.

    Some.
I've put bags on my Tacoma, and two Tundras. Highly recommend them. I also highly recommend spending the extra $ to install an automatic/self leveling system. You can add onboard air to your truck and run the self leveling system from the tank. OBA is also nice for low/flat tires.

Nice build you have there Jeff! You should look at Roadmaster Active Suspension (RAS). I have this on my Tundra to help when towing a 7k lb travel trailer. I've only towed once since, but it really did help minimize squat. From about 3-4in before to about 1.5-2in after. It raised the rear of mine by about 1in (unloaded) when using a quarter to "set" the coils in RAS. Lots of other members have more experience with this setup and will likely chime in.

Love my air bags, only 1" of squat, with 700lbs tongue weight. Air bags pressure 35 lbs.
