I have a 2010 Tundra and my 4hi/lo light flashes and abs trac lights are solid. Checked wires at back of truck look good to the sensors. I used be able to turn the truck off and back on and it would take care of the problem for awhile and now that doesn't work

Mileage? Sounds to me like you have wheel bearing wear issues which causes the abs tone ring to not match the sensor tip correctly. Jack up the corners and verify the bearings are nice and snug & smooth. Another possibilty, but not likely, battery. Age? Have it load tested? Any codes??

137,000 wheel bearings are good and not pulling any codes..battery is also good.

That is my next plan of action was to pull the sensors and just change the filter last night when I did oil change

What are the check engine codes accompanying this? If you can read what the truck is trying to tell you, then you're just guessing.

Has the 4x4 been getting used when all this started? Maybe the actuator is sticking. Have you driven and engaged and disengaged both hi and lo in forward and reverse several cycles to confirm the system actuator isn't rusty/sticky?

There are codes, if your scan tool won't display them for you, I would head to an autoparts store and borrow a better scan tool.

Has it been cycled in and out of 4 hi and lo a few times monthly or even every 3 months?

I think maybe your actuator has gotten corroded and sticky. Might need to try going in and out of 4 hi while both rolling slowly and in neutral. Never had mine opened up yet, but I do know these are kind of a use or lose it system. If not cycled on a regular basis, the actuators become corroded. Maybe you should try to explore with the search box on the forum and try to find more info. It is on here and I have seen a thread that is full of photos regarding actuator repair or restoration.

I just read your original post again and I am not convinced that you don't have an abs sensor/wheel bearing issue. Any blown tires, or massive pot holes lately? If your 4x4 was working easily in the last month or so with zero sticking issues, that makes me less suspicious of the actuator. Really hard to help without knowing the truck over the last few months. Sometimes you can just get a better idea based off recent history.

No flat tires and haven't been off road ...the only time ive used 4 wheel drive was on ice and snow a few weeks ago and it started doing this before we had bad weather. I stopped at a car wash and sprayed the truck off and everything was fine after that for a few days ...wheel bearings feel tight

If you have another vehicle or even a friend who can help maybe put a jump on the battery and verify that you don't have a battery issue. These trucks do funny things with bad cells in the battery. Pretty cheap and ez to eliminate as a cause in under ten minutes.
