and the sad part is, the manufacturers know this is a thing, and yet they still don't put a physical killswitch on the FOB that lets you manually disable the wireless communication until such time as you want to use it...because god forbid the customer be inconvenienced by having to manually flip a switch to make something work, right?

In order: Orvis dog cover for rear bench seat, OE gun safe, Husky liners front/rear, Tyger tonneau tri fold, Rough Country seat covers
On my 2020, I can turn off the FOB (or at least stop the wireless) by press/hold the lock button and then press unlock twice. The FOB light blinks a few times and then it’s disabled until I press unlock or any button again.

Assuming the 2022 can do this as well?

My dealer told me that because the Tundra is only made for North America it is very desirable. He had a guy who wanted to buy as many as he would sell and for 10K over MSRP. The plan was to send them overseas and resell them. He turned the guy away for obvious reasons, but it makes me think the Tundra may be targeted more than some others.

Yep, do it with mine. I always give the door handle a wave and a tug, just to make sure the connection is lost. Got my spare key deactivated and in a faraday cage, just in case dirtbags scan in front of my house.
