05 AC here, it's like, my first Tundra so maybe y'all can help me with some stuff. How much lift do I need to fit 31" tires? I have some 28x10 Dub Daze rims ready to go on, haven't picked the tire brand yet.

My buddy told me he can get me a full 7" lift Skyjacker kit for a steal, like $4000 out he door! Right now it has these King shocks on but I don't like the color so will probably chuck that stuff out. I think the front struts are broken anyway, they squeak a lot.

I'm going to build a camper for the back, kinda like this one but I'm going to build it really good so I can jump the truck with it on, really want to catch some mad air




I think I will need an add a leaf and maybe some helper springs for the weight though.

I have some cutting board plastic stuff left over from another project which I will use to make skids to keep things a bit lighter, and am going to get an HF welder and teach myself to weld my own bumpers and tube steps.

My trips to Starbs are gonna be lit yo! What other cool mods do you guys think I should do?

Umm, just turn on your defrosters? My rear window will defrost itself, but I've never had this problem.

 

Thanks man! Maybe if i put a wing on the back but mount it upside down so it give lift instead of downforce then it'll help lighten the back up? if that woks then one on the front too, hell i may not even need the add a leaf then!
