Good deal. Unfortunately most folks would rather pay $400 or $500 more to have a Rhino dealer spray the same thing on...smh. DIY is always better. BTW....did you opt for the over priced spray on liner?

 

Well kind of…… traded the truck I was going to put this in for a $60k truck of which the manufacturer was nice enough to include the spray in liner. I have done my own liners in every truck I have owned. I can speak very highly of the Rustoleum and Raptor Kits…. Both hold up well if the bed is prepped properly and product is applied properly both of which is where people often go wrong. I was hoping to trade my truck for a ‘22 Tundra but the folks at Toyota decided to leave those of us who need a front bench off their list of desired customers so I bought a ‘22 Sierra 1500 with the little duramax. So far so good!

 

Kuul. I have a coworker who would be stranded for a few days or more if not for his girl to give him a ride to work. Overpriced 22 Sierra AT4 with woosy deactivating 5.3L and only 1500 miles on it. CEL and flashing dash lights. Dealer wouldn't give him a loaner. He's pissed.

After I came to the realization that Toyota had no plans for the bench…. I started doing research….. the eco tech 5.3 are junk and have been since their inception….. 3.0 duramax while new to the GM trucks has been used in Izuzu cab over trucks for about 10 yrs with little to no issues. GM had some programming issues in the early stages but have rectified those….. plus my first tank of fuel I averaged 27.6 mpg hand figured so that’s nice….. sucks your buddy is having issues….. some it sounds dealer related….. my local gmc dealer just happens to also be my local Toyota dealer so have a long history with them…..
